MAGO Prima's Open-Source Web Tools
MAGO introduces free open-source web tools tailored to the unique needs of water managers and farmers. Attendees are invited to delve into the practical applications of these tools, showcasing the project's commitment to an open-source philosophy that fosters collaboration within the agricultural community. This collaborative approach extends beyond conventional boundaries, encouraging innovation in agricultural practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Open Innovation
A core tenet of PRIMA MAGO's philosophy is open collaboration. By engaging with stakeholders such as MENBO and Agbar Agriculture, the project ensures that its tools are not just innovative but also align with the practical needs of professionals in agriculture and water management.
The project presentation on November 7th, is scheduled from 16:30 to 18:00. This session will take place at Room B - Le Benedettine Conference Center, under Session 7.2: Earth Observation for Agricultural Water Management.
Under the stewardship of Giulio Castelli, Chair from the University of Florence, Italy, Session 7.2 will hone in on "Earth Observation for Agricultural Water Management in the Mediterranean Area." This thematic session underscores the vital role of technological advancements in addressing water scarcity conditions in agriculture.
